Building Plans
The majority of the new building will be filled with
full sized basketball court that can be used for
basketball, our AWANA program and other indoor
recreational activities. Also within the building on
the first floor we have included classroom space,
storage space, a stage, locker rooms and a fully
equipped kitchen.
We believe that this combination features will allow
great flexibility for current and ministry opportunities. For
example, the stage can be used for concerts,
presentations and space for possible additional
services in the future.
The kitchen will be fully equipped to function in the
capacity that the ministries of our church require.
There will be a direct access into the kitchen from the
outside making transportation of supplies easy.
The storage facilities in the gymnasium will include a
large storage closet and space underneath the stage.
These spaces will allow for storage of tables and chairs
as well as sports and maintenance equipment.
The second floor will consist primarily of office space.

We have needed to resurface and repair our parking lot
for a long time. This need will only increase with
the flow of heavy construction equipment in and out of
our parking lot. We have decided to include a repair
and resurface of the parking lot as a portion of this
project.
We have had a long-standing vision to enhance the two
entries to our property off of Galusha Avenue with
decorative gateways and signs.
Glorifying God is our chief end, using His resources to
build His Kingdom through gospel ministry. As a
continual reminder of these truths the elders have
decided that our vision must be broader that our own
perceived need for a gymnasium. This building
initiative should not result in our own blessing alone,
but also in blessing to gospel ministry around the
world. Therefore, the elders have decided that 10% of
every dollar given will be set aside to enable special
projects that arise among our missionary families. What
joy it will bring to be reminded that God’s work is
growing in other lands even as we watch it progressing
here at home!
